This project transforms a small apartment located on a privileged seafront into a contemporary, bright space with a strong sense of openness. From the outset, the main idea was to eliminate the visual barriers present in the original home to create a completely open environment that enhances spatial continuity and visual connection with the Mediterranean.
The intervention aimed to define a simple, welcoming style incorporating Mediterranean touches through the use of small-format ceramics and oak wood details, bringing texture, warmth, and timeless character to the ensemble.
The new layout organizes the home into two main areas. The daytime zone unites the living room, dining room, and kitchen into a single, fluid, open space bathed in natural light and fully oriented toward the sea. The nighttime zone, visually connected to the main area without losing privacy, includes two well-designed bedrooms and two efficient bathrooms.
The result is a renovated apartment that, despite its modest size, offers a sense of spaciousness, serenity, and Mediterranean warmth, making the most of its extraordinary seaside location.
